The Retirement Success Coach

Whatever Stage of Retirement you are in - Saving, Planning, Transitioning, or already there --Let me introduce myself--

I am Jane Hardwick,
"The Retirement Success Coach"

I guarantee that I can greatly expand your Retirement options and enrich your Retirement experience.

Let's say…

  • You plan to retire, but you don't want to sit in a rocker.
  • Maybe you're laid off and would like to retire, but need an income stream.
  • Perhaps part-time work would keep personal contacts in your life or fill an income gap.
  • The second half of your life looms on the horizon, and you aren't sure how to proceed.
  • Will you continue to work full-time or maybe become a volunteer?
  • Will you go back to school?
  • How about traveling?

How will you fill your time and satisfy your soul?

Let's Think About It…

You are embarking on a journey of discovery, and about to write another chapter of your life. It can be scary. You need to assess your situation thoroughly, but perhaps you don't even know what questions to ask.

Contact me, and let's discuss your situation.

Remember, I am "The Retirement Success Coach," and I can help you ask-and answer-those difficult questions. Also, I guarantee the result will be a clearer vision of your future!

Some Questions Asked by Current Clients:

1. Is a decision about my Retirement really my decision alone? What about taking into account the needs of others - spouses, parents, children, and grandchildren? How do I determine how much of my time they will need?

I can help you think about options to tailor your new life and schedule to ensure time for care of parents, visiting with grandchildren, and taking care of that other, often neglected, special person: you.

2. How will I feel if I retire or scale back? What personal satisfaction will I experience? Can I live happily without the corner office and personal secretary?

I know how my clients feel when they go from "Who's Who" to "Who's That?" Some are OK with their new status and find meaning elsewhere. For others it's a struggle. I'll help you develop a new vision of your self-worth.

3. How much control will I need over my time and life direction?

I will help you develop a lifestyle in which you are in charge of what you need or want to control.

4. How old do I really feel? What are my attitudes about aging?

There's chronological age, and then there's perceived age. I can help you craft an attitude that helps you achieve your life goals, not fall into a lifestyle that slows you down because you feel you can't tackle your remaining objectives.

5. How adaptable am I?

I can help you understand and successfully deal with life's surest maxim: The only constant is change.

6. Do I have enough friends? Enough varied Interests?

If you haven't taken time to nurture either of these earlier, I will help you begin. That's what I most enjoy doing: helping clients set goals related to friends and a choice of activities, while holding them accountable for their exploration.

Today's retiree is fortunate. Better health and longevity give him/her a bonus: time to craft a whole new life and time to "give back." The trick is to answer the difficult questions and develop a personal retirement "mission statement."

Why not talk this over with me? I'll do all I can to help you to build a life that "lives" your personally crafted mission.

I'm Jane Hardwick and that's what I do.
